We are currently looking ahead to Culture Days celebrated during the month of September and tentatively booking our annual fall Words in the Park event for Saturday, September 5th.

The Sherwood Park Community Centre AGORA is booked and this event will be confirmed soon.

If you are interested in receiving updated information regarding our event, please send us an email and we will respond as soon as we can. Thank you for your wonderful support ~ The WFSC Board & Planning Committee.

The Writers Foundation of Strathcona County (WFSC) is proud to again host our fall signature event--Words in the Park ~ Author Fair & Book Sale. Our 19th Words in the Park event is in the planning stages and tentatively booked for Saturday, September 5th, 2026 in the Sherwood Park AGORA. We invite everyone to this free family fun event promoting literacy and literature. Many authors choose our event as the perfect venue to release new books.

Authors! Book-related creative vendors! Arts & Culture membership groups!

If you would like to participate as a vendor, please email us at wfscsherwoodpark@hotmail.com to request a vendor application. Tables fill up fast, so get your email to us as soon as possible. 

 

Tables are $25 for WFSC members

 

 

$45 for non-members 

 

Or get a membership for $20 and pay only $25 for your table (total $45).

Do you want to promote your book or product or service on our Facebook page during the event? Email us your image, blurb, and link and we'll schedule your ad for September 5th--we guaranteed at least one post during the 10:00 am - 4:00 pm time frame. Cost: $15 per book, product, or service. â€‹â€‹
